Shay Keane
Shay spent over 20 years working in senior marketing and business development positions with the largest firms in Life Assurance (Irish Life) in pension consulting Mercer (IPT) Asset Management, Bank of Ireland Asset Management before acquiring his first business.
Having purchased Pension Systems Limited in 2003 he rebranded it to PSL Consulting and grew it aggressively and then sold it to IFG PLC in 2008.
He established Ireland’s first independent Credit Union focussed business in 2006 the “Le Cheile Group” which he grew over the following decade during which time he sold selected business lines within the group to AXA Insurance and Merrion Capital.
Nial Smith
Nial is a chartered accountant with over 30 years’ experience in Irish business.
Nial has worked in the private hospital industry for more than 20 years where he held positions as a financial controller, director of finance and director of operations.
In recent years Nial has branched out into consulting and has worked on assignments across a number of sectors including financial services and supported some of the major players in the healthcare sector.
Nial is an advisor to BXI Board
Kevin O’ Donovan
An experienced senior executive who has held senior leadership roles in Electronic Payments services, Management Consulting and Coaching/Mentoring, Wealth management, Private Banking and Retail Banking roles.
Kevin has worked in the Financial Services industry for more than 35 years as well as supporting many businesses in the SME sector
Most recently he has been the initial and key driving force in the successful development of a unique joint venture within the Credit Union sector in Ireland

Michael has worked in both corporate and small businesses over his career providing administrative, auditing, branding, and project management services within a range of settings.
